ACFAA History

The Association Culturelle Franco-Anglaise d'Aquitaine (ACFAA) was formed in July 1992 by Roger Philip, a Scot living in Eymet and the first few years were dedicated to an art group. Over the following years other groups and social activities were introduced. Today we have 600+ members, run French & English language classes, activity groups ranging from Art, Line Dancing to Gardening, also we arrange social events throughout the year.

About ACFAA

ACFAA’s aim is the promotion of cultural life and well-being in the communities of Eymet and surrounding communes. Its objective is the development of activities that build community rapport.

Formed over 30 years ago and run by a team of volunteers, the Association offers a wide range of activities in the fields of culture (art, atelier, craft, photography, gardening, history, music, dance etc) and wellness, as well as language classes and events for members within the local community. Membership is open to everyone. ACFAA also works to enrich the local community by working with Eymet’s Mairie and other partners on local projects.
